It's great to be back. Sorry I missed the weigh in, I was sitting in the airport. It was great to be able to meet the other contestants off the show the "Biggest Loser". I got to sit in the front row, about 1 foot from the stage. After the show we went to the after party and got to meet many of the contestants. It was so inspiring to here the stories and see the great results. Our state was represented by a super person, Jennifer is very nice and has lost a lot of weight. Also there was my daughter who represented ND and Melinda from Alabama who was also from Minnesota. On wednesday morning we woke up early to work out and Melinda was also working out, I was real polite because this woman is in fantastic shape(super muscles) and could kick my butt. I got a chance to meet many of the families and talk to them. All these people have the same issues that we have and it was not easy for any of them. After seeing how many of them lost significant weight (12 lost over 100 lbs) I know that I can do it.
People think that Marty is full of himself, well I hope so he deserves it. The guy looks great and is a very friendly person. He is my inspriation.
Poppi from New Jersy is probally one of the neatest people you could ever meet. When the host called her Poppi doll, that is who she is. Full of energy and just so outgoing. Anyone who can go from a size 22 to a size 2, WOW.
My daughter got to know Jeron from Arkansas, he was the other at home person brought back on the show. I met him and his wife, really great people who are just so sincere and sweet and so humble. He tried real hard to be the at home winner.
I also got to meet Kim the trainer, another WOW, great looking and so nice. There were no cameras allowed so I didn't get her picture, but I did get a hug, another WOW.
I never realized that losing weight was a emotional thing. I have lost and gained as much as 70 lbs over the years. I watched my daughter go thru many ups and downs duirng this show. After talking to the families(to get the real story), they all went thru a real emotional roller coaster. So I hope that will help me and all the contestants on this contest realize that we are not different and we can do it.
